About the School

Students in Hanasaku Language School not only learn the Japanese language, but also have the opportunity to experience the different Japanese seasonal and cultural events, such as the Cherry Blossom Viewing and Summer Festival. The school environment and classrooms are very clean and well maintained, and there are many commercial and historical sites nearby. The school’s dormitory is located in a quiet residential area yet with many convenient facilities nearby.

Available Courses

Long-term General Course

Course Duration: 2 years

This course is designed to prepare students who would like to enter graduate schools, universities and vocational schools.

In the first year of study (transition from beginner to intermediate level), students gain a thorough understanding of the basics of Japanese language. In the second year (transition from intermediate to advanced level), students aim to acquire advanced Japanese language skills. They also offer preparation classes for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), with the aim of boosting students’ skills up to the N1 level. Each student is assigned to a teacher in charge of higher education, and this teacher will give detailed guidance to the student.

※The above cost includes tuition fees, insurance, extracurricular activities and educational materials.


Long-term General Course

Course Duration: 1 year and 6 months

The same generic Japanese Language course that is designed to prepare students who would like to enter graduate schools, universities and vocational schools. Only difference is that this is a 1 and a half year course duration.

Short-term General Course

Course Duration: 1 month

This course is designed for people who want to learn the Japanese language as well as the culture.

Student who join this course can also take part in various activities such as cherry blossom viewing, temple visits, sub-cultural experiences, and many more!

※The above cost includes tuition fees, teaching materials, etc. Dormitory fees are not included. Activity costs are negotiable separately.

School Location

Hanasaku Language School is located at Saitama city, just 30 minutes train ride from Central Tokyo.

The school is also easily accessible by public transport, with the nearest metro station being Omiya Station.

Dormitory

Convenient Location

Located just 15 minutes walk from the school, Hanasaku’s dormitory is located in a quiet residential area with many commercial and accessible facilities nearby. These amenities make it a great living environment for the students.

In addition, the staff visit the dormitory regularly to support a safe and secured study-abroad life for all students.

Cost of staying at the dormitory:
¥35,000 to ¥40,000 per month excluding wifi and utilities fee.

Download all necessary application forms, fill up and send application forms and any required documents via email.

Step 2


Screening Process

Wait for the completion of Admission Screening Process and acknowledge acceptance of enrolment.

In-house Scholarships

There are 3 types of in-house scholarships.

The Principal’s Award


¥50,000 for students with excellent grades and lifestyle that serves as a good role model for other students.

Perfect Attendance


¥3,000 for students who have submitted all their homework, and also with full attendance rate for all classes.

JLPT Pass Award


For those who passed JLPT N1, they will be rewarded ¥20,000. For those who have passed JLPT N2, they will be rewarded ¥10,000. For those who have passed JLPT N3, they will be rewarded ¥5,000.
