UNITAS Japanese Language School is operated by the Teikyo University Group, which is one of the largest private universities with a long history in Japan. The group also owns 39 universities and schools around the world.

UNITAS has a history of more than 50 years, and more than 10,000 students from over 40 countries have studied the Japanese language at this school. Today, UNITAS Japanese Language School continues to be highly regarded by students and institutions in many countries.

UNITAS operates two campuses in Japan, [UNITAS Kofu] and
[UNITAS Tokyo]. You can select either campus based on your budget and preferences.

Short-term Course

This course is designed for students who would like to learn the Japanese language and
immerse yourself in the culture for a short period of time (short-stay visa).

School Location

UNITAS Kofu

UNITAS Kofu is located in Kofu, it takes three and a half hours to travel from Narita to Kofu by bus.
The direct bus service to Kofu is operated by Chiba Kotsu and Yamanashi Kotsu.

Alight at Kofu station, and take a seven minute walk to the school.


UNITAS Tokyo

UNITAS Tokyo is located in Okubo, Shinjuku. To get to Shinjuku, you can take the Airport Limousine or Narita Express.

Alight at Shinjuku station, get on to JR Yamate line (No.15) for Ikebukuro.
The nearest station is Shin-Okubo, one stop from Shinjuku. Take a 10 minute walk to the school.

The school is also accessible from other train stations in the area.
It is a 5 minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku station, 7 minute walk from Nishiwaseda station, and a 15 minute walk from Okubo station.

Dormitory

UNITAS does not own any dormitory, but the school can introduce inexpensive share houses and apartments according to each student’s budget and preference!

Accommodation near UNITAS Kofu costs around ¥15,000 to ¥30,000 monthly.

Accommodation near UNITAS Tokyo costs around ¥45,000 to ¥80,000 monthly.

Facilities vary from property to property, but most properties are equipped with the following; A/C, Internet, Kitchen, Toilet, Shower

In-house Scholarship

UNITAS offers a one-time ¥50,000 scholarship to 20 students.
The teachers will select students who have good attendance rate and good grades.
